All you need to know about this Foxes super star who agreed terms on joining club

Liverpool has reportedly agreed on a deal in principle to sign Leicester defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi ahead of a potential move to Anfield in the summer.

With the future of German international, Emre Can increasingly uncertain after been linked with a summer move to Serie A giants Juventus on a free at the end of the season having refused to extend his contract at Anfield, it can only be fitting for the Reds to make contingency plans to replace the midfielder.

However, reports from Guinean Journalist Alpha Balde claims that Liverpool has earmarked Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has the perfect replacement for Emre Can should he decide to leave Anfield for Juventus at the end of the season but also suggest that he doesn’t expect him to come cheap.

Guinean journalist, Alpha Balde as quoted on his social media platform Twitter, he said;

“Ndidi approached by Liverpool. The player would have agreed. It remains to agree with Leicester, who asks a lot,”

With RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita set to complete his move to Anfield this summer having agreed on a movie with the German outfit last summer, the Reds pursuit of Wilfred Ndidi ticks all the boxes as both players will likely form a strong partnership by complementing each other in the middle of the park.

Naby Keita as a box-to-box midfielder will be allowed to switch between attack and defence easily with the presence of enforcer Wilfred Ndidi who is expected to sit back and provide the necessary cover for the back four.

The 21-year-old has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League since he was brought in for a reported £17 million to replace former Leicester midfielder N’golo Kante in the winter of 2017.

He has featured in 35 games for the Foxes across all competitions scoring once and providing three assists and he is known for his strong tackling, interceptions, concentration, long shots, anticipation, and winning aerial duels.
