The 20-year-old attacker has recently returned to fitness and is seriously fighting for a starting position in Ernesto Valverde’s starting lineup.
However, the youngster has been unable to stamp his spot on the squad and speculations have gone viral of a likely switch to North London giants Arsenal at the end of the campaign.
But then attacking midfielder has since moved to play down those remarks as he claims that he will remain at the club and fight for his spot at the Camp Nou.
He told Telefoot that he is not going to call it to quit at the Catalan side after only a season, having signed a five-year deal with La Liga giants.
Dembele promised to remain at the Spanish side for a long time, and also stressed that it might take him a little more time before he can regain full fitness and regain the best form.
He stressed that he is not at the top of his game at the moment, and promise to return to his best little by little.
To the delight of Barcelona fans, the Frenchman confirmed that he has a better lifestyle in Barcelona that at Dortmund.
