La Liga giants Real Madrid have allegedly told Premier league side Arsenal they are ready to offer striker Karim Benzema in any potential transfer deal for defender Hector Bellerin.
France international and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has long been touted to join the Premier League giants.
Arsenal wanted him in the summer of 2009 when the forward was at Ligue 1 side Lyon, but the Frenchman ended up going to the Santiago Bernabeu instead.
The player has since stayed at Real for nine seasons but, having endured a tough season, this may be his last year at the club.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol says the Los Blancos have told the Gunners they can finally land Benzema this summer window.
The forward remains famous among the supporters and Real President Florentino Perez, but maybe one of the numbers of victims of a massive summer clear-out.
Real Madrid has endured a difficult season with Catalan side FC Barcelona currently heading towards winning the La Liga title.
And the Arsenal target, considering how much he commands, is primed to be shown the exit.
Real Madrid supposedly wants gunners full-back Bellerin and feel that, in offering Karim Benzema and a transfer fee of £25m, they can get a transfer deal done.
But Diario Gol claims the north London side has no plan of letting the Spain international defender go.
The clubs, according to reports, value him at about £35million – which is the same figure they are ready to pay to land striker Benzema outright.
