Premier League side Arsenal are preparing a summer transfer offer to land Saul Niguez from La Liga side Atletico Madrid, as per reports.
According to Spanish media reports, The North London side are lining up a summer bid to lure Saul Niguez from the La Liga side to the Premier League.
Spanish publication AS, as cited by the Sun, is claiming that Arsene Wenger’s side has made the midfielder one of their top transfer targets ahead of the next transfer window.
The same article says that the North Londoners have approached the La Liga club about the likelihood of landing the Spain international.
As per the same report, Arsenal has overtaken rivals Manchester United, who are also thought to be keen on signing 23-year-old this summer transfer window.
Saul Niguez is contracted until 2026 and is thought to have a buyout clause of £130million in his contract with the former La Liga champions.
He has been in good form for the Spanish club so far this term, finding the net six times and providing three assists across all competitions for the Spanish side.
The report comes after the gunners were pitted against la Liga side Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Europa League last four.
The North London club will take on Diego Simeone let Atletico side over two legs as they attempt to reach the final of the UEFA Europa League.
